Allen Samuels Auto Group Acquires Tenth Dealership

28 July 2000

WACO, Texas - Waco-based Allen Samuels Auto Group has expanded its interests
to Port Arthur, Texas, with his acquisition of Mingle Motors. The dealership
currently sells Chrysler and Dodge products. Upon approval from DaimlerChrysler,
the dealership will also be awarded a Jeep franchise for sport utility vehicle
sales.

"I am very excited about the opportunities this new dealership brings to
our organization," said Allen Samuels. "We have been pleased to provide
service to our customers over such a wide area. Our company has been
successful in central, south and east Texas, so the Port Arthur location is an
excellent fit for us."

Mingle Motors is currently owned by Mrs. Holda Mingle and Gene Benton, and
it is located at 4200 Gulfway Drive. Samuels projects that he will receive
approval from the State of Texas and DaimlerChrysler within 60 days.

The new dealership will be known as Allen Samuels Chrysler Dodge Jeep, and
will remain located at its present site until a new facility is built.

Allen Samuels Auto Group now owns 10 new car dealerships in Texas. In
addition to Port Arthur, Allen Samuels' dealerships are located in Waco,
Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, Tyler, Clear Lake, and Ennis.
That total will increase to 12 in 2001 as a result of DaimlerChrysler's
approval for two new Dodge dealerships. One will be in Katy, Texas, and the
other will be north of Fort Worth near Alliance Airport. Allen Samuels Auto
Group is the 33rd largest new car dealership group in America, according to
the April 2000 edition of Ward's Dealer Business.
