New Partners Thrifty Car Rental and US Airways Offer Dividend Miles Members Triple Miles

    TULSA, Okla. - Thrifty Car Rental announced today that it is beginning a new 
partnership with US Airways, the nation's fifth largest passenger airline.

    To celebrate, Thrifty is offering US Airways Dividend Miles members triple
miles on car rentals of two rental days or longer worldwide beginning August 1
through November 15, 2000.  Airport rental customers will be credited 750
miles per transaction during this promotional period -- triple the normal 250
miles.

    Some restrictions apply:
    --  customers must rent from airport locations only;
    --  rentals must be at least two rental days in length;
    --  rentals must be picked up during the promotional period; and
    --  customers must show their Dividend Miles card at the time of rental.

    Dividend Miles members can also earn 250 miles when they park three times
within a one-year period at the same US Thrifty airport location that offers
parking.

    US Airways, US Airways Express, US Airways Shuttle, and low-fare MetroJet
fly to 205 destinations worldwide, including 38 states in the U.S., Bermuda,
Cancun, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, Nassau, San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten,
St. Croix, and the Canadian destinations of Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa,
Hamilton, and London, Ontario.  US Airways' transatlantic destinations include
Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Manchester, Munich, Paris and Rome.
