Federal-Mogul Unveils 3 New Fel-Pro 1-Piece Oil Pan Gaskets For Performance Chevy Engines

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Three new Fel-Pro one-piece molded-rubber oil pan 
gaskets, which ensure faster installation and leak-proof sealing on a wide range 
of small-block Chevrolet performance engines, are now available from Federal-
Mogul Corporation .

    Fel-Pro is the premier brand of gaskets and sealing systems for virtually
every aftermarket application, from passenger cars, light trucks and sport
utility vehicles to a full range of high-performance engines.

    The new Fel-Pro oil pan gaskets -- #1880, #1881 and #1882 -- cover dozens
of small-block V8 engines requiring a thick front seal, left- or right-hand
dipstick configuration or straight side rails.  Compressed thickness of each
gasket is 9/64-inch.

    The exclusive Fel-Pro one-piece molded rubber design replaces competitors'
multi-piece cork-rubber gaskets, ensuring an instant fit and unmatched sealing
performance without the need for gasket adhesives.  Each one-piece gasket
features a steel core for maximum strength and steel compression limiters to
prevent overtorquing.  Side rails are trimmed for rod clearance with "stroker"
applications.
