Hillside Ford Opens Quick Lane Service Center

HILLSIDE, N.J. - Fast service and maintenance while you wait, with no
appointment necessary, are some of the customer-friendly features of Ford Motor
Company's newest Quick Lane service center being launched by Hillside Ford.

Hillside Ford is hosting a two-day grand opening celebration for customers
July 14 and 15, with a formal ribbon cutting scheduled for 11 a.m. July 14.
In addition to free refreshments and a New York Yankee tickets raffle, several
local racecars will be displayed.

"Our customers have made it clear that they want the convenience of
speedy, no-appointment service during hours that fit their busy schedules,"
said Mike Jordan, president of Ford's Automotive Consumer Services Group.
"This new facility will give Hillside another avenue for satisfying their
customers in a very competitive market."

With extended service hours and competitive prices, Quick Lane service
centers are designed to provide a variety of vehicle maintenance and light
repair needs, with no appointment necessary, in a facility that is either
located at the dealership or nearby. In addition to warranty work, Quick
Lanes handle oil and filter changes, brake systems, tires, belts and hoses,
tune-ups and alignments.

"We're giving our customers dealership level repairs at chain store
prices," said Richard Liebler, president of Hillside Ford. "We're pleased to
be able to give our Ford customers and all-brand customers another choice for
convenient service, and we're looking forward to convincing some of those
all-brand customers to think about buying a Ford."

Customers who visit a Quick Lane service center will enjoy a different
experience from the typical trip to a dealership service department. They are
encouraged to interact directly with the technicians who service and repair
vehicles or, if they wish, they may relax in a comfortable reception area.

To date, 43 Quick Lanes have opened in the United States.

"When customers make Quick Lane their service center choice, they will
have the confidence of knowing their vehicles are being serviced by
Ford-trained technicians using quality parts," said Carl Bergman, Customer
Service Operations manager, Ford Customer Service Division. "At the same
time, we are aiming to deliver speedy service equal or superior to the best of
the competition."

The grand opening celebration hours are from 7a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, July
14 and Saturday, July 15. Service center hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday
through Saturday.
