Ultra Motorcycle Co. Files Notice of Appeal, While Continuing to Negotiate a Settlement in Lawsuit

    MIRA LOMA, Calif. - Bikers Dream, Inc., which does business under the name Ultra Motorcycle Co. reported Thursday:

    On June 16, 2000, a notice of appeal was filed on behalf of the company in the matter of James Kinnicutt, et al. v. Bikers Dream, Inc., et al., relative to the judgment entered against the company on March 20, 2000. At the time the notice of appeal was filed, the company was continuing with negotiations to resolve that litigation.

    The company will be closed for the 4th of July holiday from Saturday, July 1 through Tuesday, July 4, 2000. However, the company will be participating in the Rocky Mountain Thunder Rally show in Pueblo, Colo. from June 30 through July 2, 2000.

    The company operates under the fictitious business name "Ultra Motorcycle Company." The company sold its Bikers Dream Superstores and the trade name "Bikers Dream" to V-Twin Holdings, Inc., earlier this year. Any references to Bikers Dream should not be confused with references to V-Twin Holdings or its Bikers Dream Superstores.

    Ultra Motorcycle Co. is a manufacturer and distributor of quality-built American heavyweight cruiser motorcycles. Corporate headquarters and manufacturing operations are located in Mira Loma.
