2000 AMA/Chevy Trucks U.S. Superbike Championship, Round 6: New Hampshire
International Speedway, Loudon, New Hampshire, June 19, 2000

Team Honda's Nicky Hayden survived a first-turn altercation that left him with a
slashed tire, then soldiered on to claim valuable AMA/Chevy Trucks U.S.
Superbike Championship points with his sixth-place finish at rain-delayed round
six at New Hampshire International Speedway on Monday. Australian Mat Mladin won
the event that was held a day later than planned; he maintains the series points
lead. Eric Bostrom was second on the day, with Aaron Yates third. Hayden's
teammate, Miguel Duhamel, finished 10th to pick up points at the same track
