                              Over the Internet

ELK GROVE, Calif., June 1 ALLDATA, the worldwide market
leader in publishing computer-based diagnostic, repair and estimating
information, technical service bulletins, recalls and maintenance schedules
for automotive service providers, today announced the release of its Internet
product, ALLDATA(R) Online.
"Before the Online subscription service was available, we had to take time
to shuffle through the discs and be careful not to lose or misplace them,"
said Keith Thompson, of Northside Dyno-Tune, an ALLDATA(R) Online beta
customer in Jacksonville, Fla. "With ALLDATA(R) Online, my technicians logon
to one of three PC terminals located in the shop, search for the information
they need and are back on the job in seconds. Accessing information through
the Internet is fast, easy and convenient!"
ALLDATA(R) Online, the next-generation information delivery vehicle from
ALLDATA, is available now for subscription by calling 800-684-1250 or visiting
http://www.alldatapro.com .
"The world is rapidly moving to content delivery over the Internet," said
Brett Easley, ALLDATA's President, Customer Satisfaction. "ALLDATA supports
that direction and believes that information quality and timeliness can be
improved using the Internet."
"Mr. Thompson's experience accessing the ALLDATA(R) product over the
Internet reinforces that with proper connectivity, even complex information
like wiring diagrams, drawings and photographs become readily available
throughout a repair shop," continues Easley. "Information delivered where it
is needed, easily and quickly, is the Internet promise we believe we can
deliver to our customers."
ALLDATA(R) Online product updates will be provided quarterly at this time
and more frequently in the future. For repair shops who are not quite ready
to access the ALLDATA database via the Internet, ALLDATA will continue to
market and sell their DVD and CD-based products.
