Thrifty Opens In-Terminal Location in Pittsburgh

    TULSA, Okla., May 30 Effective June 1, 2000, Thrifty Car
Rental will be serving travelers at its newest in-terminal location inside
Pittsburgh International Airport, the nation's best airport and third-best in
the world, according to a recent poll of Conde Naste Traveler readers.
    Thrifty is conveniently located near the baggage claim area, with cars
located just outside the car rental facilities.
    It is anticipated that 70% of customers at the new Pittsburgh airport
location will primarily be business travelers, with the remaining 30% leisure
customers.
    The company also plans to open additional western Pennsylvania suburban
locations in the coming months to meet the increased demand for Thrifty cars.
    Worldwide, Thrifty is in the terminal of more than 80 airports in North
America, and is in all major Australian airports, in addition to being in-
terminal in most major cities in the Caribbean, and Central and South America
where Thrifty has a presence.
