Kinko's and TrafficSchoolOnline.com Provide 21st Century Approach to Traffic School

    VENTURA, Calif.--May 25, 2000--

Virginia First State to offer DMV-Approved Traffic School Courses
Via the Internet with "Verified Testing"

Further enhancing its array of multi-channel document services, Kinko's Inc. has teamed up with TrafficSchoolOnline.com(TM) to provide a technologically advanced solution to traditional traffic school.
This unique partnership of "bricks and clicks" enables residents of Virginia, a state known for its leadership in the technology arena, to fulfill traffic-school courses online and then take a short test at one of the 27 Kinko's(R) locations throughout the state of Virginia and in the District of Columbia.
This first-in-the-nation, Virginia Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV)-approved learning and verification service will be available June 1.
TrafficSchoolOnline.com developed the Internet-based traffic-school program that provides eligible traffic violators with a new option to traditional traffic school. The full-service program enables students to fulfill all of the coursework obligations in the convenience of their home and then take the 30-minute final test at a local Kinko's store.
With trained co-workers and rental computers equipped with dedicated high-speed Internet access, Kinko's is well positioned to facilitate the test. Co-workers assist in the set-up process, and in verifying with a driver's license photo, that the person taking the exam is the traffic student.
"Kinko's is not just a copy shop. We provide a full array of innovative solutions to fulfill our customers' needs," stated Charlie Morrison, Kinko's vice president of product marketing. "Our association with TrafficSchoolOnline.com further enhances our multi-channel 'bricks and clicks' platform for services any time, any where our customers want it."
The program also offers a glimpse into Kinko's ongoing development of an Application Destination(SM) department in its stores. The department is being designed to offer unique products and services for customers utilizing Kinko's rental computers.
To participate, the student drivers simply sign up for the DMV-approved course online at www.trafficshoolonline.com and pay a course fee of $49.95. The online interactive course combines text, graphics and quizzes. Once the course is completed, the student drivers will go to a participating Kinko's location to complete the final exam.
Kinko's and TrafficSchoolOnline.com plan to rollout the service in additional U.S. markets over the next 12 months.
"We are excited about teaming up with an industry leader and visionary company like Kinko's," said TrafficSchoolOnline.com CEO Steve Soldis. "Over the years, Kinko's revolutionized the quick printing industry with their innovative approach to technology and product offerings. Together we will do the same for driver improvement course study."
TrafficSchoolOnline.com, the nation's leading Internet traffic school company has headquarters in Santa Rosa, Calif., just north of Silicon Valley. TrafficSchoolOnline.com was the nation's first Internet-based driver improvement company and is the only one to advocate and provide "Verified Testing."
