National-Standard Supports the Save the Children Foundation(R)
NILES, Mich., May 22 For the seventh consecutive year,
National-Standard (Amex: NSD) personnel at the AWS Show not only made a
statement about the quality of N-S weld wire, but also about improving the
quality of life for disadvantaged children around the world. Booth staff were
wearing ties and scarves purchased from the Save the Children Foundation(R), a
nonprofit organization dedicated to the health and welfare of children in the
United States and throughout the world.

"The ties have created goodwill for N-S, but more importantly, they have
given us an opportunity to spread the word about the good work that the Save
the Children Foundation(R) is doing all over the world," says Jerry Hays,
Product Manager at National-Standard.

Founded in 1907, National-Standard is a Niles, Michigan based firm with
annual sales of approximately $180 million. In ten operating facilities
throughout the world, the company manufactures and distributes a broad range
of wire and wire related products, including tire bead wire and welding wire,
in addition to wire cloth and fabricated filters for the automotive air bag
industry. For product information, contact Carlis Cassel at 800-777-1618.
