Honda Introduces 2001 Motorcycles and ATVs

TORRANCE, CA - American Honda announced on Thursday its 2001 model lineup of
off-road motorcycles and ATVs.

New for 2001are Honda's latest motocross tools - the finely-honed CR250R and
CR125R. Following a highly successful makeover in 2000, the pair returns with a
host of engine improvements that recall the legendary power of past Honda
motocrossers.  Also returning are the popular CR500R, CR80R and CR80R Expert.

On the XR front, Honda's powerful XR650R leads a pack of legendary performers in
2001, including the XR400R, XR250R, XR200R, and the always-fun XR50R.  Honda's
tough dual-sporter, the XR650L, also returns in 2001.

Honda's flagship ATV for 2001 is the all-new 500cc Foreman Rubicon with the
revolutionary Hondamatic transmission. Honda's complete lineup of ATVs is here
too - the versatile Foreman series of 400cc and 450cc models; the value-packed
350-class Rancher series; the ever-popular Recon and the Fourtrax 90. Honda's
sport ATVs are well-represented by the acclaimed Sportrax 400EX and 300EX
models.

Honda will announce its remaining lineup of 2001 motorcycles and ATVs later this
year, culminating with a number of exciting new model announcements on Thursday,
September 13.
