Serious Auto Accessories Announces
Really Nice Invisible! Hitch™ Receiver for Miata

SOQUEL, CA April 27, 2000 – Serious Auto Accessories announced today the
release of it’s newest product for Miata, the Really Nice Invisible! Hitch.

The hitch mounts securely to the rear of the Miata by attaching to the car’s
frame. The construction of the hitch features a vertical receiver tube that
is completely hidden from view when not in use. To use the hitch, simply
insert the included tow bar into the vertical receiver tube and secure the
locking pin.

“We had many customers asking us for hitches for the Miata but when we
looked at the standard available options, they were always visible from the
rear of the car. We felt that this took away from the sporty appearance of
the Miata,” explained Darrell Rogers, New Product Manager for Serious Auto
Accessories. “We wanted to bring a new product to the market that would help
retain the clean lines of the Miata.”

The hitch is specified Class 1, which features a tongue weight of 200 pounds
and a towing capacity of 2000 pounds. The hitch itself is lightweight,
tipping the scales at a mere 12 pounds. It comes standard with an
anti-rattle bracket.

Options to the Really Nice Invisible! Hitch includes a lightweight bike rack
(for up to 3 bikes), different size ball mounts, and an integrated lighting
wiring harness built specifically for the Miata.

The Really Nice Invisible! Hitch is available from stock today for both the
M1 and M2 models of the Miata. The price is $179.00 for ’90-97 and $197.00
for “99 + Miata.
