Titan Takes the Fast Track with Firebird Raceway SponsorshipPHOENIX, March 16 Titan Motorcycle Co. of America announced today that it will sponsor the 2000-2001 racing season at Firebird International Raceway Park (Chandler, Ariz.). The season sponsorship entitles Titan to a variety of marketing and promotional participations, including outdoor track signage, advertising in each issue of "Firebird Today" event newspaper, and live announcements during each of dozens of year-round events. Located on Interstate Highway 10, only minutes from downtown Phoenix, Firebird Raceway is home of "the fastest quarter mile in the world". Open 52 weeks a year, it serves as the venue for dozens of major international motorsports events, including the World Series of Drag Racing, Pro National Raceway Time Trials, Monthly Team Firebird Events, and Friday Night Drag Races. Additionally, Lake Firebird, located in the center of the raceway, hosts the Lakefest International Hot Boat Association (IHBA) season opener April 28-30, as well as the IHBA World Finals, where over 200 of the world's hottest watercraft and drivers will test their mettle at speeds of over 200 mph.
