AMA: EA Sports Supercross Series results from Atlanta

2000 AMA/EA Sports Supercross Series, Round 8: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Georgia -

Honda Red Riders turned in some of the fastest laps in the field as they took
three of the top six spots in Atlanta's Georgia Dome, site of round eight in
the 2000 AMA/EA Sports Supercross Series, with Mike LaRocco, Sebastien Tortelli
and Kevin Windham finishing 4-5-6 on their CR250Rs.

Race winner Jeremy McGrath continued his torrid pace for the 2000 season,
gathering in his sixth victory of the season and stretching his series points
lead over race runner-up David Vuillemin. LaRocco maintains third position in
the series with 152 points.

In 125cc action, Brock Sellards of Team FMF/Honda earned second place for the
second week in a row to maintain the AMA 125cc Eastern Region Supercross Series
points lead.

The series will take off a well-earned week before continuing with Round 9 at
Daytona's International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida on March 11. Be sure
