New Education Financing Kit, Scholarships Offered, AAA Says
ORLANDO, Fla.--Feb. 16, 2000--A chance for students to win a college scholarship may be just a phone call away, according to AAA.High school and college students can enter AAA Financial Services' college scholarship sweepstakes simply by calling 1-877-222-6391.
In addition to being entered to win one of 10 $1,000 scholarships, students will also receive a free Education Financing Kit.
"This is AAA Financial Services' third year of awarding scholarships and we're pleased to offer this helping hand to students and parents," said Ed Feder, chief executive officer of AAA Financial Services. "Providing financial assistance to those seeking higher education is important to us."
The Education Financing Kit includes a colorful, 10-page brochure that explains various financial aid opportunities, and applications for several loan options offered through AAA Financial Services.
One of those options is a new program, the Private National Collegiate Loan Program. This program is available through participating U.S. four-year colleges and can be used by itself or in conjunction with the Federal Stafford Loan or the Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS).
The deadline for entering the scholarship sweepstakes is April 14, and winners will be selected by random drawing on or about April 28. To enter, or for more information on education assistance loans or a copy of the sweepstakes rules, call 1-877-222-6391.
All loans and scholarships can be used for any expense related to higher education including tuition, fees, room and board, or books and supplies.
