CHICAGO -- Olympic champion Carl Lewis joined forces with local television
and radio personalities to encourage consumers to get in shape by participating
in the NikeTown Fitness 2000 program and possibly win a 2001 Aztek Sport
Recreation Vehicle -- an innovative and aggressive vehicle that can meet and
exceed the demands of even the most active of lifestyles.

Pontiac has teamed up with NikeTown for the Fitness 2000 initiative, a unique
program that challenges consumers to achieve their personal fitness goals by
assigning a point-value to daily athletic activities. Four winners of the
NikeTown Fitness 2000 campaign will each win a 2001 Pontiac Aztek. Quite
possibly the most versatile vehicle in the world, Aztek made appearances at
regional Fitness 2000 kick-off events in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York
and Chicago and will be touring with Nike street teams to showcase its unique
style and functionality, while encouraging consumers to keep an active
lifestyle year-round.
