Toyota Announces Price Increase on 2000 ECHO and Celica Models
    TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 4 -- Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A.,
Inc., today announced a slight increase in the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail
Price (MSRP) on 2000 ECHO and Celica models.
    The price increase on ECHO affects four-door models only.  On a comparably
equipped basis, the overall price increase for ECHO is 0.7 percent, or $80.
    On a comparably equipped basis, the overall price increase for Celica is
1.0 percent, or $180.
    The price increases will be effective February 28, 2000.
