Vehix.com Announces Free Online Automotive Lead Management Tool
SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 28 -- Vehix.com, the newly released
national automotive online buying service, announced today the release of an
extensive lead management tool for auto dealers branded as "Sales Matrix".
The Sale Matrix software is free to Vehix.com Dealer Members. The program
instantly alerts dealers to customer inquiries, delivers an automated dealer
response and instantly matches purchase requests against existing inventory.
Additionally, the software tool allows auto dealers to receive and manage
leads from all online auto buying services and to monitor key sales data in
real time.
By using this service, a Dealer Internet Specialist can efficiently and
effectively manage all incoming e-business. The system allows dealerships to
send and receive purchase requests from any and all online auto buying
services to which they subscribe. Within the software, there are customizable
templates of several responses as well as real time reporting of the progress
made with each inquiry. Auto Dealers can also use Sales Matrix to quickly and
easily maintain their online inventories and to upload digital photographs of
their inventory to the Internet. Additionally, reports can be run for any
time frame to show leads by source, most requested makes, models and colors,
and other pertinent customer data.
Vehix.com offers consumers the ability to search through and buy directly
from dealer inventories, apply for online financing, and complete a variety of
other automotive-related Internet transactions. Since 1998, AT&T Media
Services has offered this Internet product as part of an automotive
dealer advertising package in selected AT&T markets.
"Efficient and effective lead management has been a major issue with auto
dealers since the inception of online buying services," said John Garff,
President and CEO of Vehix.com. "Sales Matrix solves all of the problems that
dealers have been telling us that they have had with respect to delivering
cars to customers via the net."
"The Sales Matrix solves the key issues which have riddled the online car
buying world. Most importantly, it creates a method which makes it easy for
the dealership to efficiently manage all of their Internet Leads," said Kevin
McMillen, Vice President of Technology at Vehix.com. "In short, Sales Matrix
helps the dealership sell more cars with less work."
