Automotive Suppliers Converge on North American International Auto Show At Cobo to See Their Work
DETROIT, Jan. 13 -- Automotive suppliers from around the
world are visiting Detroit today and tomorrow to see the culmination of their
efforts as they appear on the 50 plus concept and production vehicles unveiled
at the North American International Auto Show at Cobo Center this week.
To help facilitate their visit, the following parking options are
suggested:

    On site
Cobo Hall, roof deck and arena -- 1,500 spaces available.
(Spaces at Cobo fill quickly, so early arrival is advised.)

    Close by
Joe Louis Arena garage 2,000 spaces available to public
First Street Parking 1,200 spaces available to public
Fort Washington Garage 375 spaces available to public
Lafayette and First Street 140 spaces available to public
First Street Garage 100 spaces available to public

Near People Mover Stations (from 1/4 to 1/2 mile)
Miller Parking Garage (RenCen) 1,500 spaces available to public
Millender Center Garage 1,600 spaces available to public
Federal parking lot 65 spaces available to public

Lafayette Lot 60 spaces available to public

On site parking fills quickly, so visitors to the show should keep these
options in mind, and are encouraged to "park and ride" making use of the
People Mover. Those parking in the Greektown area will need to use the
Bricktown station, which is two blocks south of Greektown.
