LKQ Corporation, Nation's Largest Auto Recycler, Announced Free Replacement Guarantee on Parts

    CHICAGO, Dec. 8 -- LKQ Corporation, America's largest
recycler of automobile parts, announced the longest free parts-replacement
guarantee in the parts recycling industry.  The LKQ Parts Replacement Promise
is available nationwide and applies to mechanical parts, sheet metal parts and
replacement glass products that LKQ recycles.
    Under the mechanical Parts Replacement Promise, LKQ will guarantee for six
months that its recycled parts will be free from defects -- the longest
no-cost warranty coverage in the industry.  In addition, LKQ will provide
parts and labor coverage on qualified OEM engines and transmissions.  Under an
optional extended service agreement, LKQ will provide supplemental parts
replacement and labor reimbursement on mechanical parts.
    Under its sheet metal Parts Replacement Promise, LKQ will guarantee that
its sheet metal will be free of internal rust and corrosion for the lifetime
of the product.  LKQ guarantees part replacement and labor for product failure
under the policy.  Under the Company's glass replacement policy, LKQ will
replace side window glass if broken during installation, subject to inventory
availability.

Officer Joseph M. Holsten, who made the announcement at NACE, the
International Autobody Congress and Exposition held in Atlanta last week.

the recycled parts industry -- to provide the best possible service to our
customers and to make it absolutely clear that we stand behind the quality of
our recycled parts."

    All descriptions of the LKQ Parts Replacement Promise are subject to the
terms and conditions set forth in the written warranty document.
