21 October 1999

ISM Racing Signs Agreement with Lycos
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Oct. 21 -- ISM Holding Corporation
(OTC Bulletin Board: ISMH) announced today that it has entered into an
agreement with Lycos, Inc. , the fastest-growing Internet portal
and the world's largest online community. The agreement gives Lycos co-title
sponsorships of two of ISM's Indy Racing teams and an associate sponsorship of
a NASCAR Winston Cup entry for the next three seasons beginning in calendar
year 2000.
The sponsorship agreement represents a major brand building and
promotional opportunity for Lycos in the motor sports arena and provides
online and offline exposure for both ISM Racing and Lycos through significant
promotional and cross-marketing opportunities. Lycos will also receive
television commercials during the broadcasts of each race as well as in-car
camera exposure.
"Lycos recognizes the incredible growth of racing as a spectator sport,
and we see no end to the momentum. We're planning to capitalize on this
opportunity through an extensive program of promotions and event marketing.
Whether it's more information about the races or their favorite driver, a
great place to shop for merchandise, or the chance to interact with other
fans, Lycos provides an excellent resource for race fans to truly enjoy their
favorite sport," said Jim Hoenscheid, director of Promotions for Lycos.
"ISM Racing is pleased to see Lycos show its support of the team. The
contract, valued as multi-million dollars annually allows the team to perform
on the track. Through promotions on the 'Net, where Lycos reaches nearly one
out of every two users, all of our alliance partners in the team will benefit
off the track from our relationship with one of the Web's leaders, as will the
Indy Racing League," commented ISM Chairman L.G. Hancher, Jr.
