Cannonball Classic: The Auto Channel Wins Two Trophies in Cannonball

20 years after the last and totally illegal Cannonball run from Darien, Connecticut to Redondo Beach,CA organizer Brock Yates changed the format to a 6 day run from New York to Redondo Beach with stops on the way.
Stops or no stops, there were all sorts of dramas with a Japanese photographer getting arrested after a car chase in Indiana and a very lucky escape from a 110 miles per hour crash in a two seater sports car in which the driver was not wearing safety belts.
