Auto Club Adds New Insurance Services
LOS ANGELES--July 15, 1999--The Automobile Club of Southern California has expanded its insurance services to include small businesses, rental properties, mobile homes, collector cars and large watercraft.The new services are designed to provide one-stop insurance shopping for members at competitive prices.
The Auto Club already offers automobile, motorcycle, motorhome, homeowner/condo, renters, personal excess liability, life and boat/Jet Ski(R)/Sea-Doo(R) insurance.
"We want to simplify the insurance buying process for our members," said Bill Moody, vice president of agency and investment products for the Auto Club. "People today lead busy, complicated lives. It is easier for them to fulfill all their insurance needs through one point of contact."
New insurance services now offered by the Auto Club include:
-- Small commercial business owners policy - property and liability coverage for in-home businesses, apartment buildings, office buildings and small retail businesses. -- Rental dwelling - coverage for rental houses and vacation homes owned by members not covered by a homeowners policy. -- Mobile home - offers property and liability protection for members who own mobile homes. -- Collector cars - protection for collector cars, trucks and motorcycles. -- Large watercraft - coverage for large boats over 26 feet and other boats not qualifying for insurance currently offered through the Auto Club.
New and existing insurance services offered by the Auto Club to qualified members are underwritten by the Interinsurance Exchange of the Automobile Club and independent insurance companies.
