Auto Europe Reduces Rates on All Mercedes by 20%; Included is Free Cell Phone Rental for a Week

    PORTLAND, Maine, July 14 -- Auto Europe is reducing rates
20% on all Mercedes rentals in Europe.  The offer is valid for reservations
made by August 31 for travel through December 31, 1999.  As an added bonus,
included  is one week's free cell phone rental.
    In Germany for example, a Mercedes C180, manual drive with air
conditioning, which was $321 for a one week rental, is now $266.  With CDW,
the rate has been reduced from $451 to $396 per week.  A Mercedes S320,
automatic drive with air conditioning, which was $927 is now $767 per week.
With CDW, the usual $1079 weekly rate has been discounted to $920.  All
rentals include unlimited mileage, VAT, third party liability and the cell
phone rental.
    The phone, which has voice mail and can be used throughout Europe, is
mailed and the number assigned before departure from North America.  The offer
does not cover air time, activation fee and any delivery fees.  Competitive
air time is charged.
