25,000+ Expected at 1999 Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally

5 June 1999

Bike shows, demo rides, poker runs, valuable prize drawings, a motorcycle
trade show, field events, a parade and much more -- all great reasons to point
your motorcycle toward Ruidoso, N.M., for the 1999 Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally,
Sept. 15-19, 1999.

With the rugged scenic beauty of the Sacramento Mountains of south central New
Mexico as the backdrop, the trip to the Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally will offer
a wide variety of motorcycling activities, highlighted by a prize drawing for a
1999 Honda Valkyrie and Neosho cargo trailer.

Nearly 25,000 motorcyclists attended last year's Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally.
This year, the rally is only one of two American Motorcyclist Association (AMA)
National Road-Riding Conventions for '99. This year, event organizers are expecting
similar crowds, and attendees will be treated to a wide range of both riding and off-bike
activities.

Road-riding enthusiasts will also be able to enjoy daily poker runs, a full complement
of field events and games, daily bike shows, a motorcycle parade, demo rides and stunt
shows. Nearly 70 vendors have already signed on to fill the 33,000 square feet of vendor
space. Accommodations around the Ruidoso area abound, with more than 100 lodging and
camping facilities within 20 miles.

For more information, or to register, contact the Golden Aspen Rally Association at
(800) 452-8045, or visit its website at
http://www.motorcyclerally.com.

The Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally is part of the AMA/Dunlop Elite Touring Series,
the largest collection of organized motorcycle road-riding activities in existence,
with more than 50 events all over America.
