American Quantum Cycles Files for $8 Million Public Offering

    MELBOURNE, Fla.--April 26, 1999--American Quantum Cycles Inc. (Nasdaq BB:AMQC) filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 10, 1999 for the purpose of registering shares of the Company's common stock to be sold in an underwritten public offering.
    The Company's underwriter, Barron Chase Securities, Inc., is headquartered in Boca Raton, Fla.
    American Quantum Cycles is a new entrant in the worldwide motorcycle industry with a state-of-the-art engine utilizing a patented four-valve head for greater torque and acceleration along with lower pollutant emissions. American Quantum Cycles has headquarters at 731 Washburn Road, Melbourne, Florida 32934.
