Federal-Mogul Appoints Walter Reifenrother

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 15 -- Kevin Baird, vice president,
Sealing Systems, Europe, Federal-Mogul Corporation announces the
appointment of Walter Reifenrother to managing director, Sealing Systems,
Herdorf, Germany, effective immediately.
    "I am very pleased to welcome Walter to my senior management team in
Europe," said Baird.  "He is a highly capable individual with valuable
production experience and he has excellent knowledge of our manufacturing site
in Herdorf."
    Reifenrother joins Federal-Mogul from Constructor/Dexion, where he held
the position of operational director.  Prior to this, Reifenrother held the
positions of production director and head of process development at
Federal-Mogul's Herdorf site.
    Reifenrother replaces Klaus-Peter Majewski, who is leaving the Herdorf
site to pursue other career opportunities.
