Florida Municipality Fleet Reports Excellent Results With PetroMoly Engine Oil

HOUSTON--April 13, 1999--Worldwide PetroMoly Inc. (OTC BB:MOLY) announced today that the city of Coral Springs, Florida will be converting their entire fleet of cars, vans, trucks, etc. to PetroMoly Engine Oil. In July 1998, Worldwide PetroMoly entered into a service agreement with The City of Coral Springs to service 660 of the 900 vehicles in the Municipality's fleet, including police cars, fire/rescue trucks, and public-works vehicles. PetroMoly will now be used in all of their rolling stock in service. Worldwide's distributor, Bennett Auto Supply will continue to service this account. The City of Coral Springs is the recipient of The State of Florida Governor's Sterling Award for corporate excellence; the only city in Florida to win this distinguished honor.
"We have tested the oil in a number of units and have found that it will extend the mileage between preventative maintenance procedures. We will therefore be doing only two full preventative maintenance programs per year rather than four, which will save the city money in terms of parts and technician's labor," says Rick Jensen, Fleet Services Supervisor of the City of Coral Springs.
"We are certainly delighted, but not surprised, to receive such accolades from an award winning municipality like The City of Coral Springs," says Gil Gertner, Chairman of Worldwide PetroMoly. "We hope and believe that other cities will show the innovation and progressiveness that the City of Coral Springs is demonstrating. Not only should the city be honored for achieving a reduction in city costs, a goal for any government, but they should also be recognized for reducing their community's vehicle emissions by using PetroMoly " adds Gertner.
"We have already begun progressive discussions with other municipalities and agencies with similar goals, that use and provide state-of-the-art products that better serve the members of their communities," says Elizabeth Barasch, South Sales Manager for Worldwide. "When PetroMoly successfully consummates these agreements, these type of accounts can provide a pure win-win status for all parties; in that PetroMoly will have a very significant and steady addition to its annual sales, while the agencies are receiving superior lubrication benefits that are necessary for now, on into the next millenium," says Barasch.
Worldwide PetroMoly, Inc. manufactures, markets and distributes high-performance lubricants for use in all types of motor vehicles, compressor engines and railroad locomotives. PetroMoly products utilize a new patent-approved process technology called molytech(TM). These products contain stable and suspended molybdenum disulfide (moly), a hard and extremely low-friction metal, which fills in the micro-porous, crater-like surfaces of pistons, rings and cylinder walls. This creates a more efficient engine environment and prevents metal-to-metal contact, thereby reducing friction, heat and wear. Moly is a slick and powerful antioxidant, known to have the world's lowest coefficient for friction. Worldwide PetroMoly is a sponsor in the Pep Boys Indy Racing League.
