Ten College Scholarships Offered, AAA Says

ORLANDO, Fla.--March 31, 1999--Ten high school or college students will be receiving $1,000 scholarships this year from AAA Financial Services.
"Escalating costs of higher education make it difficult for students and their parents to meet the financial requirements of many educational institutions," said Ed Feder, chief executive officer of AAA Financial Services. "This is AAA's way of lending a helping hand."
To enter, graduating high school seniors and post-secondary school students should send their name, address, phone number and the school they are currently attending to: Scholarship Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 3250, Pittsburgh, PA 15230-3250. There is a limit of one entry per person.
The deadline for submitting entries is April 23, and winners will be selected by random drawing on or about April 29. For more information or a copy of the sweepstakes rules, call 800/680-AAA4.
In addition to the scholarships, a variety of student loan options are available through AAA Financial Services including the Federal Stafford loan for students and Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS).
Both loans and the scholarships can be used for any expense related to higher education including tuition, fees, room and board, or books and supplies.
AAA Financial Services offers a broad range of financial products to AAA members through PNC Bank, FSB, and its affiliates.
