New Prolong Appearance Products Supported by `Ultimate Car Care Challenge' TV Show

    IRVINE, Calif.--March 29, 1999--Prolong Super Lubricants has announced the launch of a 30-minute direct response television show introducing consumers to its new Super Car Care Kit.
    The "Prolong Ultimate Car Care Challenge" infomercial promotes the unique new family of Prolong products by showing real-world and laboratory tests, as well as consumer testimonials. The show, which will air year-round, is hosted by TV personality Bob Eubanks.
    The premium-quality Prolong Appearance Products line-up features Prolong Paint Sealant, Prolong Waterless Wash & Shine, Prolong Super Protectant, Prolong Super Cleaner and Prolong Super Glass Cleaner.
    The infomercial features all five products packaged as a Super Car Care Kit. The offering also includes two patent-pending product applicators, a polishing cloth and lifetime limited warranties for dashboard and paint.

    In supporting the retail launch of its automotive lubricants line in 1996, Prolong aired its first direct response television show, "The Prolong World Challenge." Since then, that program has aired more than 60,000 times domestically, with further distribution among Prolong's international markets.
