Saab to Webcast Worldwide Unveiling Of 9-3 Viggen; Consumers Can Join the Nation's Press at the 1999 New York International Auto Show for the World's First Look at Saab's New High-Performance Car
    NORCROSS, Ga., March 25 --  Saab is preparing to introduce
the world to its newest car, the aircraft-inspired Saab 9-3 Viggen. The high-
performance 9-3 Viggen (Swedish for "thunderbolt") enjoys its world debut on
Tuesday, March 30, at 1:15 pm, during the press day portion of the New York
International Auto Show. As part of the worldwide debut, Saab will also offer
a webcast of the entire press conference at 3:00 pm EST.
    Named after its Saab Aircraft namesake, the Saab 37 Viggen jet fighter,
the 2.3L high-output turbocharged Saab 9-3 Viggen features the highest level
of performance to-date in a Saab automobile, a specially tuned sport chassis,
superior aerodynamics and exclusive exterior and interior styling.
    To participate in the press conference, consumers have three choices.
