1999 Spring Chevy/Vettefest

The 1999 Spring Chevy/Vettefest, the Nation's Largest All-Indoor Car Show, Car Sale, and Swap Meet Will Be at McCormick Place East Building, March 27 & 28, 1999
    JUSTICE, Ill., March 18 -- Mid-America Promotions presents
the Spring 1999 edition of the Chicago Chevy/Vettefest Nationals, March
27 & 28 at McCormick Place's East Building.  Over three hundred collectible
Chevrolets and Corvettes, with a total value estimated to be over $10,000,000,
will be on display as part of the Gold Spinner Concourse for original-restored
vehicles, Custom Cavalcade and All Chevrolet and Corvette Car Sale.  Over four
hundred vendors from throughout the U.S. will be on hand for the Super Swap
Meet, offering NOS, OEM reproductions and custom parts, literature,
memorabilia and accessories.
    Original and original/restored Chevrolets and Corvettes entered in the
Gold Spinner Concourse will span decades of automotive history, from the
1950's to current models.  Custom and modified vehicles, including street
rods, dragsters, and street machines will compete for class prizes in the
Custom Cavalcade.  Show awards total over $8,000 in cash and awards.
    Last fall's event attracted close to 50,000 visitors.  Show hours are
9 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday.  McCormick Place
East Building is located at 2300 South Lake Shore Drive, just east of Lake
Shore Drive.

                      Chicago Chevy/Vettefest Nationals
                             Spring 1999 Edition

    WHAT:    The Nation's largest all-indoor Chevrolet and Corvette showcase,
             featuring over 300 collectible vehicles, a super swap meet and a
             special display of Chevrolet performance vehicles.

    WHEN:    March 27 & 28, 1999.  Saturday hours are 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
             Sunday hours are 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

    WHERE:   Chicago's McCormick Place, East Building, 2300 South Lake Shore
             Drive (East side of Lake Shore Drive).  McCormick is easily
             accessible from Lake Shore Drive or Route 55 to Lake Shore Drive
             South.

    ADMISSION:  $10.00 for adults; free for children under 12 when accompanied
                by an adult.
