Volvo to Build Time Capsule in Celebration of Millenium
ROCKLEIGH, N.J., Feb. 8 -- Many families will enter the
millenium reflecting on the past. The Volvo family is no different.
Over the course of 1999, the company will collect photos of its extended
family, customers and their Volvos. Photos of any Volvo model are
welcome as long as at least one person is shown with the car. The photos
will be compiled as "Volvo's 20th Century Photo Album."
At the end of this year, the "photo album" will be buried in a time
capsule at the Volvo Museum in Gothenburg, Sweden where Volvo is
headquartered. Instructions will be left for the next Volvo generation
to open the time capsule in 2100.
All appropriate photos should be directed to Volvo Cars of North
America, Inc.; "Volvo Photo Album," Box 205, Stratham, NH 03885-0205.
