Infiniti of Scottsdale Achieves Number 1 Sales Ranking

    CARSON, Calif., Jan. 15 -- Infiniti, the luxury division of
Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA), announced today that Infiniti of Scottsdale
has achieved the number one sales ranking among all Infiniti Dealers in the
United States.  Infiniti of Scottsdale sold a total of 1,118 units in the 1998
calendar year.  That contributed to a total sales volume of 63,649 units last
year.
    This marks the third year in a row that the Scottsdale Arizona dealership,
owned by Larry Van Tuyl, has earned this title.  "Infiniti of Scottsdale
continues their tremendous sales efforts in Arizona, and remains an
instrumental component of Infiniti's sales arm," said Craig Liggett, Director,
Infiniti Sales Operations.  "Their hard work and dedication typifies the
145 Infiniti dealers in the U.S. who have contributed to Infiniti's sales
success in 1998."
