'Nightly Automotive Report' Moves to Longer FormatDETROIT, Jan. 8 -- The "Nightly Automotive Report" is pleased to announce it is expanding to a half-hour format every Monday night on Detroit Public Television. The program will air from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and will provide viewers with news, information, features and interviews covering the automotive industry. "Detroit is the center of the automotive universe, and we want to shine the spotlight on the important work being done in this community," said Dan Dancer, president of Blue Sky Productions, the company that produces the program. "If you want to get a better understanding of what's taking place in the auto industry, this show is for you." The "Nightly Automotive Report" will continue to air from 5:54 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday evenings. Its companion program, "Autoline Detroit," which features interviews with top executives in the industry, airs on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Both shows are hosted by John McElroy and underwritten by Visteon Automotive Systems. The special guest on Sunday, Jan. 10, will be Ronald A. Weber, the head of 3M's Automotive Division.
