Honduras to Introduce 1999 Legislation to Mandate Use of International Fuel Technology's PEERDiesel

LAS VEGAS--Dec. 21, 1998--Honduran Vice President of Congress Marco Antonio Andino recently announced that he will introduce legislation in the 1999 session of Congress to mandate the nationwide use of PEERDiesel, a product manufactured by International Fuel Technology Inc. (IFT).
The first of the family of PEERfuels (performance-enhanced, emission-reduced fuels), PEERDiesel is currently in its final phase of testing in California. After completion of phase-three testing, PEERDiesel will be assigned a salable credit value.
"We wish to claim for Honduras the value of these internationally tradable and salable credits to be used in conjunction with our disaster relief program," said Andino.
"The preservation of the health of the people of Honduras is linked to the environment and, in particular, clean air," said Andino. Recent scientific studies have concluded that diesel-exhaust particulates combine in the air with dust and water to form a toxic substance that transports infectious diseases.
"PEERDiesel should be a great health benefit to our people," said Andino.
Las Vegas-based International Fuel Technology Inc. is currently traded on OTC BB under the symbol "IFUE." For more information on International Fuel Technology, call 702/873-5552, or visit its Web site at www.peerfuel.com.
