Federal-Mogul Appoints Rocco Petrilli, Managing Director, Sintered Products, America
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Dec. 15 -- Frank Tomes, executive vice
president, General Products Group, Federal-Mogul Corporation ,
announces the appointment of Rocco Petrilli to the position of managing
director, Sintered Products, America, effective immediately.   Petrilli will
report directly to Christian J. Note, vice president, Sintered Products.
    "I am delighted that Petrilli has chosen to add his professional skills to
our business," said Tomes.
    Petrilli will have responsibility for the general management of the North
America, powder metal operations.  Prior to this appointment Petrilli held the
position of director, sprocket operations for Borg Warner Automotive, Morse
TEC Corporation, preceded by the position of director of engineering, Zenith
Sintered Products.  Petrilli spent almost 12 years with Keystone Powdered
Metal Company, rising from project/manufacturing engineer to manager of
automotive products.
    Petrilli earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from
Pennsylvania State University.
