MotorVac Cleans Up on ShadeTree Mechanic Television Show

SANTA ANA, Calif.--Dec. 14, 1998--MotorVac Technologies Inc. Monday announced the upcoming ShadeTree Mechanic "MotorVac CarbonClean" episode is scheduled to air Jan. 16, 1999 at 5:30 p.m.
"The show will cover all aspects of our MotorVac CarbonClean service," said Lee Melody, president and chief executive officer of MotorVac Technologies. "From diagnosis to cleaning, it is a thorough look at how our service helps improve performance and lower emissions."
The episode will also air on Jan. 17, 1999 at 9:30 a.m., and again on April 17, 1999 (5:30 p.m.) and 18 at 9:30 a.m. All listed times are Eastern Standard. "We are excited about the increased consumer awareness our product will receive when the show airs on The Nashville Network (TNN)," said Melody.
The show, hosted by ASE certified technicians Dave Bowman and Sam Memmolo, will cover the service and show how the right equipment is necessary for a proper and thorough fuel system service. It will show how MotorVac gets to the source of performance-related problems, from pinging to lack of power, and how its systematic and comprehensive service effectively remove contaminants from engines.
"This is especially useful for do-it-yourselfers who can't seem to get the most out of their car," said Melody. "It really shows how much more comprehensive a MotorVac service is compared to the typical 'snake oil' treatment."
The episode is expected to reach approximately 2.5 million automotive enthusiasts nationwide. To order a copy of the show on video, call 800/682-8733 or write to ShadeTree Mechanic, P.O.
