Motorcycles are Hotter Than Ever
1999 San Francisco Cycle World International Motorcycle Show(R)
The 18th Annual San Francisco Cycle World International Motorcycle Show(R) presented by Toyota Trucks, roars through the Bay area, Dec. 11 through 13, 1998. See the hottest 1999 motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, personal watercraft and accessories displayed by original equipment manufacturers.
The San Francisco show is the only place to see the new '99 models from every major manufacturer. This is the largest motorcycle tour in the country.
Thrill to the precision of TEAM EXTREME as they traverse 9 1/2 foot walls and complete 6 foot vertical launches. Points are scored for the fastest time through a wild obstacle course without the rider placing his/her feet on the ground. TEAM EXTREME showcases the largest contingent of top riders from around the world, including World Champion Tommi Ahvala, from Finland. Their riding skill and bike handling proves why motorcycle trials are the new extreme in sports.
TEAM EXTREME's participation in this show is laying the groundwork for an attempt at a Guinness Book of World Records. Performance: Fri., Dec. 11, 1998, at 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.; Sat., Dec. 12, 1998, at 12:30, 2:30, 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.; and Sun., Dec. 13, at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
Preview the new full-size, V8 Toyota Tundra -- one of only eight prototypes in the country. The San Francisco show is the only place to see this truck in Northern California.
Take a demo ride on a 1999 BMW or Harley-Davidson (must be a licensed motorcyclist with I.D. and helmet).
New and vintage vehicles, performance products, clothing and aftermarket. Cruise through the Harley-Davidson Traveling Museum, featuring historic bikes from Harley-Davidson's epic past, or the Bell Sports Helmet Museum for a look at the good, bad, ugly and revolutionary head gear. See The Factory live-action accessory show and check out the Cycle World Readers Collection -- back by popular demand.
