Monaco Coach Corporation to List on New York Stock Exchange
    COBURG, Ore., Dec. 9 -- Monaco Coach Corporation
today announced its intent to list its Common Stock on the New
York Stock Exchange (NYSE).  The Company anticipates trading its shares on the
exchange near the first of the year.  Monaco Coach Corporation has
approximately 12.4 million shares outstanding.  The company will
simultaneously apply for delisting of its Common Stock on the Nasdaq National
Market.
    According to Monaco Chief Executive Officer Kay L. Toolson, "Listing on
the New York Stock Exchange should increase our Company's visibility with the
financial community, resulting in an expanded potential investor group.  It
should also reduce trading volatility and improve liquidity of our shares."
Toolson also commented that Monaco Coach Corporation investors should benefit
from tighter quotation spreads typical of the New York Stock Exchange.
    In 1997, Monaco Coach Corporation recorded revenues of $441.9 million.
For the three months ended October 3, 1998, net sales for Monaco Coach totaled
$153.2 million, an increase of 44.8% over the same period of 1997.
    Headquartered in Coburg, Oregon, with additional manufacturing facilities
in Indiana, Monaco Coach Corporation is one of the nation's leading
manufacturers of recreational vehicles.  The Company offers customers luxury
motorcoach models bearing the Monaco name.  Monaco's Holiday Rambler Division
builds quality travel trailers, fifth wheel towables and motorcoaches.
Monaco's McKenzie Towables Division produces fifth wheel and travel trailer
towable recreational vehicles.
