Hyundai Makes '98 and '99 Cars Even More Affordable; Consumer Incentives and America's Best Warranty Add up to Outstanding Value
    FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 27 -- Hyundai Motor America
today announced  fourth quarter consumer incentives of up to $2,000 on 1998
models and up to $750 on 1999 models.
    Incentives are:

    Model                            1998                    1999
    Accent                         $1,600                    $500
    Elantra                        $2,000                    $750
    Tiburon                        $1,500                    $750
    Sonata                         $2,000                     N/A

    "Each of our four models is truly an outstanding value," said Finbarr
O'Neill, president and chief executive officer of Hyundai Motor America.
"Plus, each 1999 Hyundai model is backed by the best warranty in the industry,
which includes a 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain coverage and five years of
free roadside assistance."
    Hyundai Motor America, based in Fountain Valley, Calif., is a subsidiary
of Hyundai Motor Company of Korea.  Hyundai cars are distributed in the United
States by Hyundai Motor America and are sold and serviced through nearly 500
dealerships nationwide.
