Dare UK Ltd. Announces Availability of Rotrex Supercharged DARE DZ.

British International Motor Show the first car in series production
with a factory installed Rotrex(R) Supercharger
for increased performance - the DARE DZ.
Dare UK Ltd. today announced the availability of the latest of a series of sports cars from the legendary Walklett Brothers (Ginetta) - the DARE DZ - with a factory installed Rotrex(R) Supercharger. Rotrex(R) is a new, breakthrough design leveraging all the benefits of the centrifugal turbocharger compressor with the immediate response of driving the compressor-part from the engine crankshaft.
The patented Rotrex(R) supercharger unites the advantages of a high efficient centrifugal turbocharger compressor housing/impeller with the instant response from the direct engine crankshaft driven Rotrex(R) gear.
Rotrex has a worldwide patented, high-speed traction gear drive with variable torque transfer. Variable torque transfer enables less power consumption making the system more efficient than known alternatives. Reliability is maintained, despite RPMs exceeding 100,000, as the traction gear is ball bearing alike with no constraining components. Rotrex has been through years of tests for reliability and performance.
The Rotrex(R) S/30 supercharger is today sold in 3 models: 64, 84 and 94/104 delivering 150 to 450 BHP.

Background - Privately held Scanpower ApS, develops and manufactures the patented Rotrex(R) centrifugal supercharger. Since first shipments in 1997 OEM and reseller agreements have been signed. The Dare DZ model is the first of several expected announcements in the OEM market.
