Tenneco Automotive's Frissora Assumes Responsibility for Worldwide Original Equipment Program Management


    LAKE FOREST, Ill.--Sept. 22, 1998--Mark Frissora, currently Tenneco Automotive's senior vice president and general manager for the North American original equipment (OE) business, will assume the added responsibility for program management of Tenneco Automotive's global OE business, Tenneco Automotive President Thomas E. Evans announced today.
    In his expanded role, Frissora's responsibilities will include the development of worldwide OE business strategies, global account management, product technology direction, tracking overall operating performance and development of annual operating budgets and plans.
    "Mark has turned in an outstanding performance in leading the North American OE business through a period of unprecedented growth and profitability," said Evans. "His strong leadership, managerial and team building skills make him an ideal choice to lead our worldwide original equipment initiatives. Our customers look to Tier One automotive suppliers who can provide global support and coordinated program management. Under Mark's leadership, I believe the Tenneco Automotive OE team can deliver among the best in the industry," added Evans.
    Frissora holds a B.A. degree from Ohio State University and has completed advance studies at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and the Thunderbird International School of Management. He is a member of several professional organizations including the Marketing Council of the Manufacturing Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
