Caliber Acquires Slim's Paint & Body in Texas

    IRVINE, Calif.--(AutomotiveWire)--Sept. 16, 1998--Caliber Collision Centers, a leading preferred provider to the automobile insurance claims industry, has acquired Slim's Paint & Body, with two locations in San Antonio, and a third location opening October in Schertz, Texas.
    "This acquisition, representing our second major market in Texas will help Caliber move much more quickly into other Texas cities," explained Joe Sanders, Caliber vice president, corporate development. "Slim's is a long-standing collision repair operation with a great reputation in their community, as well as with the insurance industry."
