Colorbus to Give Away Volkswagen "Beetle" At Seybold Trade Show

    IRVINE, Calif.--Aug. 28, 1998--Colorbus Inc. announced that it will give away a two-year lease on a 1998 Volkswagen (VW) "Beetle".
    This is the first of many events formally christening the "new" Colorbus and launching its "Get On The Bus" theme. The drawing for the Beetle will be held on the last day of the Seybold Exhibition in San Francisco.
    Many partners of Colorbus, including industry giants IKON, Xerox, Lanier, Minolta, MCS, ColorgrafX, Ricoh AOE, Ambassador, Danka, and ENCAD, are joining in the Colorbus kick-off events at Seybold 1998.
    All attendees at Seybold are eligible to win 2 years worth of lease payments on a 1998 Red Volkswagen Beetle. Attendees can register for the drawing by stopping by the Colorbus Booth No. 3568 and filling out an entry form. The drawing will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3. The winner of the drawing will receive from Colorbus up to $400/month for 24 months for a lease payment on a new Volkswagen Beetle. A VW Beetle will be displayed at the Colorbus booth.
    When asked why a VW Beetle rather than a bus as a give-away, Charles Lissenburg, vice president of Marketing for Colorbus, replied: "There are a lot of reasons we chose the VW Beetle. First, a real bus is a tad large to park in one's garage. Second, like our products, the VW Beetle is well-crafted and enjoys a great reputation. Third, it was a great way to promote our formal launch and new theme. And last but not least, the VW is a busload of fun!"
