Caliber Collision Centers Hosts Fourth Educational Seminar Series at The Ballpark at Arlington

IRVINE, Calif.--(AutomotiveWire)--Aug. 18, 1998--Caliber Collision Centers hosted an innovative discussion on the benefits of cycle time reduction in the collision repair industry to an audience of insurance executives, fleet operators and paint company executives at The Ballpark at Arlington in Arlington, Texas.
The discussion was led by Russ Lewis, Project Delta consultant for Caliber Collision Centers and Bill Lawrence, Caliber's chief operating officer.
Project Delta, Caliber's operating model design program, is focused on enterprise-wide improvements in customer service cycle times. Project Delta is leveraging the George Group's RapidCycle(R) process which focuses on reducing cycle time while ensuring improvement in cost, quality, delivery, inventory turnover and return on invested capital. The RapidCycle(R) process was developed by Mike George, the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of the George Group Inc., located in Dallas.
"There are significant benefits of cycle time reduction to all parties involved in collision repair," Lewis said. "The insured gets a higher quality repair in half the time, the insurer receives significant cost reductions through a decline in rental car and administrative costs as well as increased policy-holder renewals through improvements in customer satisfaction, and the repairer enjoys productivity and capacity improvements. Faster is better! It's a win-win-win for all involved."
The Caliber University Series was designed to provide a variety of unique informational and educational forums. Caliber University addresses issues affecting the collision repair, insurance and other related industries. The programs are designed for insurance clients and trading partners.
Founded in 1991, Caliber is a consolidator and operator of high quality collision repair facilities in California and Texas.
