Infiniti Announces Pricing for All-New G20- Superior handling, sporty styling and quality ... and a luxury experience - SAN FRANCISCO, July 17 -- Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan Motor Corporation U.S.A., today announced pricing for its all-new G20 luxury sedan at a meeting of its 150 retailers. The G20, which goes on sale next week, will compete in the entry luxury category -- projected by industry analysts to be one of the hottest segments in the industry -- and has a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $20,995. "This addition to our lineup will attract entirely new buyers to our franchise," said Tom Orbe, vice president and general manager, Infiniti Division. "No other car in this segment can make the claim of Japanese quality and European handling, and offer the unique benefits of our customer care and support program, The Total Ownership Experience(R)." In addition to the standard model, a touring model -- designated the G20t -- is offered with an even higher level of sportiness and a starting price of $22,495. Both models have a long list of luxury features and amenities. Among the short list of available options is a Leather and Convenience Package, which adds $1,500 to the standard model base price and $1,200 to the G20t. The G20 will be built at the Oppama plant in Japan, where the Infiniti I30 is manufactured, which won last year's J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Award. The luxury sedan will be introduced to American drivers through a comprehensive advertising launch that highlights performance, high quality and competitive price. The campaign includes television, newspaper, consumer magazines, outdoor and the Internet. The advertising highlights the G20's new features and affordability, while communicating the fun-to-drive experience for up-and-coming luxury buyers. The first in a series of commercials set to debut through summer is entitled "Pond" and begins airing nationally August 1. In it, the G20 sedan cruises around world icons, such as the Eiffel Tower and Oxford University, and is shown jumping the "pond" and landing in New York City. Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan Motor Corporation U.S.A., is supported by a network of more than 150 retailers. Customer satisfaction has always been a key component of Infiniti's commitment to customer service. Infiniti introduced The Total Ownership Experience (TOE) customer care philosophy as part of its continuing dedication to providing exceptional consumer treatment and service. With TOE, Infiniti is leading the way into the next century.
