Aprilia Motorbikes of Venice, Italy has arranged for several children from Cleveland's Make-A-Wish Foundation to attend the July 14th Spice Girls' concert at Blossom Music Center. The company, which is a global sponsor of the Spice Girls U. S. concert tour, has donated 10 up-front center tickets to Make-A-Wish. Aprilia (pronounced uh-pril-ya) has also arranged for the children to meet the Spice Girls backstage before the concert.
Aprilia, the leading motorbike manufacturer in Italy and the second largest in Europe, will begin distribution of its bikes in the United States for the first time next year.
Due to restrictions by the tour promoters, photographs and video taping backstage and during the concert is not permitted. Photos and videotape of the children arriving at Blossom and departing after the concert is permitted. Photographers and news crews should call Jennifer Black, Blossom Music Center Marketing Department, prior to arrival. She can be reached at 330/920-8040.
