DEARBORN, Mich., June 1 -- The Standard Products Company announced today its division in Goldsboro, North Carolina, has been awarded Chrysler Corporation's Gold Pentastar Award for the second straight year. This award is given to the top one percent of Chrysler suppliers for excelling in the areas of quality, delivery, warranty, cost savings, customer support and technology, and competitive pricing. The Goldsboro division manufactures door sealing systems for a number of Chrysler models. The facility also manufactures a variety of weatherstripping seals, glass run channel assembly systems and windshield molding.
