Invest in France to Participate in ITL'98
CHICAGO, May 25 -- Invest in France, the French Government's
task force for foreign investment, will host a booth at ITL'98, the
International Transportation & Logistics Exhibition and Conference to be held
at Navy Pier in Chicago from June 3 to June 5.
As part of the event, Invest in France is co-sponsoring a special
presentation entitled "Optimize your European Logistics through France" on
Thursday, June 4 at 3:30 p.m. with a panel of experts from FEDIMAG, the French
National Federation of Logistics Providers. This conference will be followed
by a cocktail reception at 4:30 p.m.
Invest in France is the French government agency responsible for assisting
foreign investors who wish to create or expand their operations in France.
ITL'98 provides the ideal setting for Invest in France to present how it
assists North American companies in finding the most profitable option to
streamline their logistics organization in Europe.
Many North American companies, such as CAT LOGISTICS, GE LIGHTING, MATTEL,
and HEWLETT-PACKARD have found that France is one of the best logistics
platforms and have set up their pan-European Distribution Centers there. They
particularly value:
    * the fact that France is the second largest market in Europe, bordered
       by seven countries
    *  its high-quality, congestion-free highway network
    * its lower operating costs and more flexible workforce than in most
neighboring countries, such as Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands
    * its pro-business customs and tax authorities

Please visit Invest in France at booth #305 and learn why many North
American companies are operating European Distribution Centers in France.
Logistics experts from various French regions and port authorities will also
be available for one-on-one consultations.
